Responsibilities made visible

About Meadow Source Sourcing

Independent procurement support for cultivator buyers who need a clear specification, comparable factory responses and a documented handoff.

Scope before selection

A procurement record, not a factory history

Meadow Source Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. The work begins with what your tractor and field require: working width, depth, hitch or drawbar configuration, hydraulic needs and wear parts. We organize that brief so prospective factories can identify the equipment they are actually quoting.

Our site does not establish factory ownership, authorized-dealer status or stocked inventory. Supplier identity, manufacturing scope and commercial conditions require confirmation for each inquiry. A product-family name is a starting point for discussion, not proof that a particular implement is available.

Three responsibility boundaries

01Buyer operating brief
02Factory configuration
03Agreed purchase scope

The buyer supplies operating conditions and acceptance priorities. Prospective factories state configuration and limitations. Any inspection, logistics or installation support is defined in a written scope before acceptance. These numbered boundaries are process steps, not project statistics.

Roles involved in a purchase decision

Role illustrations below explain the workflow; they are not employee portraits or named customer endorsements.

Buyer requirements role illustration

Buyer requirements

Confirm crop, soil moisture, site access and seasonal timing. Share tractor model, engine power and three-point hitch details so the request reflects the equipment on site.

Supplier scope review

Ask for model drawings, shank arrangement and sweep mounting dimensions. Track missing details separately instead of filling them with assumed specifications.

Receiving planning role illustration

Receiving preparation

Compare packing, unloading, spare kits and inspection documents. Receiving checks cannot establish field suitability without the agreed operating and acceptance conditions.

Decision milestones for the request

  1. Write the baseline

Keep the implement, quantity and destination identical across supplier requests. Include an optional budget with currency and unit basis.

  2. Resolve exceptions

Review alternatives for material, finishing attachments and support. A lower initial price may shift costs into spare parts, transport or on-site work.

  3. Confirm the handoff

Identify the supplier's acceptance evidence, commercial terms and responsible parties. MOQ and lead time remain unconfirmed until a current factory response states them.

Bring us the field requirement
